Basic Fire Fighters Course

Objectives

After completion of this programme, the participant will be able to:

  • Perform fundamental duties of aircraft rescue and fire-fighting (ARFF) for both aircraft emergencies and
    building fires at airports, in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO)’s
    competency requirements in ARFF
  • Gain the basic skills in handling structural fires, technical rescue and mitigation of hazardous materials
    (Hazmat) incident
