The programme aims to groom participants into competent aviation professional managers. The PGDAO is spread over 18 months, each year consisting of three terms. While transiting from the first to the third term, the students also have a 6 months internship with GMR Group. The academic year begins in August and ends in December of the following year.
- Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU), an institution established to facilitate and promote aviation studies and research and to produce quality human resources to cater to the needs of the aviation sector, offers an 18 months Post Graduate Diploma in Airport Operations in collaboration with GMR Aviation Academy.
- The course shall include 12 months classroom training at the university campus and 6 months internship at GMR Airports.
